FLETCHER COMMUNITY CENTRE and SANCTUARY PLAYING FIELDS
The Fletcher Community Centre together with the adjacent playing fields, was constructed by Urban Growth NSW for the Newcastle City Council as part of a Planning Agreement to deliver much needed recreation facilities for the community in the Minmi corridor.
EPA were responsible for the Design and Documentation of the Electrical Services for the $15 million sports complex and Neighbourhood Centre.
The complex includes: two professional football playing fields, two tennis courts, two netball courts, a cricket wicket, community centre, amenities building and car park, and children’s playground.
NUMBER. 2 SPORTS GROUND, NEWCASTLE
The redevelopment of the no. 2 Sportsground in Newcastle transformed the existing facility into an international standard sportsground for rugby union, rugby league, and football.
The project included a new grandstand, concourse seating, new change rooms, and community facilities as well sports field resurfacing, new ground lighting, car parking, and extensive landscaping.
NNSW FOOTBALL - NEW FACILITY, SPEERS POINT
Design and Documentation of the electrical design for the development of two full-size synthetic football fields, 10 five-a-side football fields, an administration building, a 120-space vehicle parking area, and associated infrastructure.
